Loan Workbench: How to Email the Borrower a Prequalification Letter
After a soft credit pull and a discussion with the borrower on their interests and requirements on a property, send them a prequalification letter from Command Center with their pre-approval terms and conditions.
Email the Borrower a Prequal Letter
1. Navigate to Pipeline from the left-hand menu.
2. Double-click on a Loan Number, and select the Selling tab.
3. View the prequal letter and select the checkbox when you are ready to send.
4. The borrower's email address will automatically appear if it was entered in Encompass. If not, enter their email address in the To field.
5. Enter the Subject and Message. The selected prequal letter will be attached at the bottom of the outgoing message.
Note: Always include your AFN Email Signature to display the borrower your contact information. By default, it is not included.
6. Click
when finished composing your message.
7. The Date Sent will have a date stamp listing when the prequal letter was emailed to the borrower.
Send a prequal letter from Command Center to display their preapproval terms and conditions the borrower could have when they work with AFN.
