Loan Workbench: How to Pull a Hard Credit Report on a Borrower




Pull a hard credit report on your borrower to view their creditworthiness and credit score from all three credit bureaus. 


How to Pull a Hard Credit Report on a Borrower

      1. Navigate to Pipeline from the left-hand menu.



      2. Click on the Prospect tab and select the Lead.  Make sure you use the borrower’s name to find the right lead.



      3. Pulling a hard credit report can be run in two areas of Loan Workbench: Lead and Qualifications


      
      4. Hover over, Order Credit and a drop-down will appear where you can pull a hard credit report. 


      
      5. Permission and agreement to the Terms and Conditions is required to run a hard pull credit. Once you receive the borrower's permission and agreement, proceed with the hard credit pull.



      6. Enter the SSN and click Run.



      7.  Within a few seconds, Command Center will display the hard credit report on the borrower.



      8. Click on Credit Score to view the credit report from: ExperianEquifax and Transunion



      9. View the Important Credit Marks and Credit Report Summary for Active and Inactive Accounts.  
      10. At the top-right, click on Order Credit to view the date of the last credit pull and you have the ability to rerun the hard pull credit report. 
      Note: You can run credit pulls in Command Center before the lead is sent to Encompass. Once the lead is sent to Encompass, credit pulls will no longer be available in Command Center.
