Mimecast: How to Release an Email

Email messages may be placed on hold in your Mimecast Inbox due to security policies in place by IT. These could be based on spam, attachments, or content examination policies designed to prevent unwanted emails from reaching your Inbox. The Personal On Hold viewer allows you to view emails that have been held, and decide whether you want to release them or reject them.

2. Double-click on On Hold Messages

3. The Mimecast for Outlook window appears. Click on Personal On Hold to view all held messages in the middle column.
