Loan Workbench: Request Lock Extensions




Producing Branch Managers and Loan Officers can request Lock Extensions in Command Center to quickly guarantee the current rate of interest on a home loan while the borrower proceeds through the purchase and closing process. 


Request Lock Extensions

      1. Navigate to Pipeline from the left-hand menu. 



      2. Double-click on a Loan Number and click on the Pricing tab. 



      3. Navigate to Action and click on Request Lock Extension.



      4. The Request Lock Extension window appears. Select the new lock extended date, who is paying for the lock extension and click Submit when ready. 



      5. An alert will appear where the request has been sent to the Branch Manager for approval.
      Note: If the Branch Manager made the request, a generated email will be sent to the Secondary Team directly. 



      6. Once the Branch Manager approves the request, it will be sent to the Lock Desk Team LockDesk@AFNCorp.com for Secondary to complete the request. 
      7. The History of Lock Extension Requests will appear in Loan Workbench, under the Pricing tab.
